We literally stand on Sustainability . Together we have made it our mission to leave the world better than we found it. We do this by sourcing our materials sustainably, keeping our supply chains short - and trying to keep our waste as low as possible. We are always looking for innovative methods and like to try new things.
Our cooperation, which has produced “Fruity Kicks”, represents our vision: These urban white sneakers not only look great and are incredibly comfortable. They also have some features that make our green hearts beat faster.
- The leather was made from innocent apple pomace, a byproduct of apple juice production.
- The material consists of 31% apple pomace, 33% recycled polyurethane (PU), 16% cotton and 20% recycled polyester.
- The padding inside the shoe is made from old PET bottles that could no longer be recycled into bottles and were upcycled for a new life as an inner shoe.
- The shoe soles were mostly recycled from old soles.
- The shoes are lovingly handcrafted in 50 steps in a small family-run shoe factory in Portugal.
